McCook, Nebraska, October 25, 2022 – The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), has released their coveted Digital Health Most Wired Survey results for the 2022 data collection period. Community Hospital is proud to announce our Level 7 achievement for the Acute survey selection.
The hospital received Most Wired awards in 2021, 2020, 2016 and 2017 and won the Most Improved category of the survey in 2014, 2013 and 2009.
“It is truly an honor to be recognized once again as being a 2022 Digital Health Most Wired hospital. Information Systems staff continues to demonstrate a passion for innovation to be on the forefront of the digital age in modern healthcare,” said Derek Sailors, Community Hospital Director of Information Systems. “None of this would be possible without the continued support of Community Hospital as an organization. We are allowed the resources and given the empowerment for continued advancement of our technological systems. These resources assist our healthcare team to provide the most excellent care possible.”
Among the more than 38,000 organizations surveyed by CHIME, Community Hospital ranked above peers in categories like analytics and data management, population health, infrastructure, and patient engagement. The survey assessed the adoption, integration and impact of technologies in health care organizations at all stages of development, from early development to industry leading.
“Whether it is the need to address long-term staffing challenges, managing rapid advancements in medical technologies, or simply to continue to improve the provision of care, staying focused and up to date on information systems and technology is more critical now than ever,” said Troy Bruntz, Community Hospital President & CEO.
“The continued effort and planning for advanced technology use for clinical and business programs is important to our success,” said Lori Beeby, Community Hospital Vice President Support Services. “The continued advancement seen in the eight segments of the survey is a tribute to our continued commitment for strategy planning throughout our organization. Congratulations.
“We are proud to honor your team’s exceptional dedication to excellence in digital health,” said CHIME President and CEO Russell P. Branzell. “Your pioneering performance in the industry inspires other organizations by example. Patients in communities around the world receive better care when you drive change through digital transformation, as you have proven through your success in this rigorous program.”
