MCC Softball Takes on Southeast CC Thursday

Coming up on Thursday we feature coverage of McCook Community College Softball.  Last season MCC Softball finished with a schools best 42-21 overall record, Won the Region IX Conference, and hosted a Super Regional, and found themselves two wins away from going to the College World Series, but that was all under head coach Kevin Kaalberg who has now moved on to a new coaching position in Iowa.  

Head Coach Mike Mendenhall takes over the program.  The Indians have had a shaky start off to a 3-18 overall record.  MCC has lost 3 straight and will look to snap that losing streak this afternoon hosting Southeast Community College in a doubleheader at the Jaycee Sports Complex.  Coverage can be heard on 102.1 True Country and online 1021kzmc.com with the pregame show at 12:50pm with first pitch at 1pm.  Full Interview with Coach Mendenhall found below.
