McCook First Central Bank Juniors Takes the Win Over Gothenburg Junior Melons

McCook First Central Bank Juniors wins contest against Gothenburg Junior Melons on Wednesday,  4-3

McCook First Central Bank Juniors got things started in the first inning when Espn Hall drew a walk, scoring one run.

Hall led things off on the mound for McCook First Central Bank Juniors. Hall lasted one and one-third innings, allowing four hits and two runs.

Aiden McKenna was on the mound for Gothenburg Junior Melons. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out three. Tyler Stueben and Landon Mroczek entered the game as relief, throwing one inning and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

McCook First Central Bank Juniors totaled six hits.  Trey Tiller, Cole Walter, and Kooper Rakes each racked up multiple hits for McCook First Central Bank Juniors. Rakes, Walter, and Tiller each managed two hits to lead McCook First Central Bank Juniors.  Grady Miller led McCook First Central Bank Juniors with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with four stolen bases.

Gothenburg Junior Melons tallied nine hits.  Carsen Farr, Mroczek, and Jackson Schwanz each had multiple hits for 2023 Gothenburg Junior Melons. Gothenburg Junior Melons was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Farr had the most chances in the field with six.
