The Bison golfers headed to Gering on Tuesday and Wednesday to compete in the Class B state golf tournament at Monument Shadows. The Bison ended their season in 12th place shooting a two-day total of 688. York won the state title and Norris was runner-up in the tournament.

Reid Loop led the Bison with a two-day total of 170. Landon Kmoch and Eli Kehler tied for second on the team with a total of 172. Cole Graham had a 174 and Kolton Koetter 190.

“It was a good experience for our young team to compete in the state tournament. Obviously, it was not the result that we wanted but we will take some positives from the experience and improve upon it next season. We made some major improvements throughout the season, we just struggled to make some putt over the two days that put us in a tough position.

Proud of our senior Eli Kehler for his leadership throughout the season. He was able to end his career with a personal best round of an 82. He will be missed next year.”
