McCook High School Hires New Head Softball Coach

McCook High School is very excited to announce Mr. Easton Gillen as the new Head Softball Coach for the McCook Bison. Easton is a current Elementary Teacher at Central Elementary and is also an assistant coach on the girls basketball team. Easton graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2022. Easton began his coaching experiences working with McCook Football and most recently working for Elm Creek High School as an assistant football coach and track coach. He is a 2017 McCook High School graduate and participated in football, basketball and track while in high school. He attended both the McCook Community College and the University of Nebraska at Kearney Easton states “I am extremely excited and honored to take over as head coach of the McCook softball program. I am looking forward to having the opportunity to work with great student athletes at McCook High School.”
