McCook's Police Chief Joel Smith Resigned

The City of McCook has received notice from McCook's Police Chief Joel Smith, that he will be resigning from the Chief of Police position on September 18th. The City of McCook is grateful for Chief Smith's service to our community and we wish the best for him. An interim Chief of Police will be selected with a tentative start date of September 19th. An open hiring process will begin immediately to select a permanent Chief of Police for the City of McCook.
