St Paul volleyball sweeps Ord


(St Paul, NE) - The St Paul Wildcat volleyball team moved to 2-0 on the season with a three-set sweep over Ord. St Paul would get off to a great start in the match by getting five straight service points from Jessica Vetick as the Cats would run away with the set by a score of 25-10. Set two would be a little tighter with St Paul winning 25-20. Ord would hang around but could not get any consistency in the serve game having eight service errors in the 2nd set. The Chanticleers in the first set would have trouble attacking having six errors. St Paul would close down the match in the third winning 25-17. St Paul was led by senior outside hitter Jenna Jakubowski with 16 kills. Jessica Vetick had seven service points. Clara Kunze chipped in five kills & six service points. St Paul now 2-0 on the season will be back in action Saturday, September 3rd playing in the Lexington Invite. Ord at 0-4 will be at the Wahoo Invite on Saturday.
