Southwest Public Power District has an opening for the position of Staking Technician. Duties include, but are not limited to, design of electric transmission and distribution facilities, easement requirements, maintain system maps, assist with coordination of construction work, communicate directly with customers on new or changes in electric services, etc. The District operating hours are a compressed work schedule with every other Friday off. This position would require passing a drug and alcohol test upon initial employment. Southwest Public Power District offers an excellent wage and benefits package, including paid vacation, sick leave, paid health insurance, and funded retirement plan. Mixing Operator 1’s start at $19.34/hr. We are hiring for 2nd shift only on the mixing side so they would get the $1.25 differential on top of that.
