SEPTEMBER 5, 2024 (NORTH PLATTE, NEB.)  —  Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol have conducted alcohol compliance checks in Lincoln County.

During the evening hours of Wednesday, September 4, investigators conducted alcohol compliance checks in Lincoln County.

In total, 10 businesses were checked. One of those businesses sold alcohol to a minor for a compliance rate of 90%. The business that failed the compliance check was Avid & Candlewood Suites.

Businesses that sell alcohol to a minor are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to minors are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor. This project is funded 100% by the Region II Human Services SUPTBG ($427,899.00, 6B08TIO85820-01M002) through SAMHSA, contracted through the NDHHS, Division of Behavioral Health.
