Alcohol Compliance Checks Held in Phelps County

NOVEMBER 26, 2025 (KEARNEY, NEB.) — Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol conducted alcohol compliance checks in Phelps County.
During the afternoon hours of Thursday, November 20, investigators conducted alcohol compliance checks in Phelps County. Ten businesses were checked. None of the businesses sold alcohol to minors for a compliance rate of 100%. All of the businesses checked the minor’s ID.
The businesses checked included convenience stores, restaurants, bars, and liquor stores. Businesses that sell alcohol to a minor are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to a minor are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor.
