Application Deadline to Become a Trooper in 2024 is Sunday, April 7

APRIL 4, 2024 (LINCOLN, NEB.)  — There’s still time to become a Nebraska Trooper in 2024! Applications for Camp 70 close at 11:59 p.m. CT on Sunday, April 7 at Camp 70 begins this July and recruits will earn their badge in December 2024.

“We’re looking for the next generation of men and women to devote themselves to the noble cause of keeping Nebraska safe,” said Colonel John Bolduc. “There’s no limit to where you can take your career as a Trooper, and the best part is that you’ll be serving the people of Nebraska alongside an elite team of professionals who’ve dedicated their lives to the same mission.”

$65,520 starting Trooper salary                                             Free college tuition for you, dependents
$27.46 per hour pay during Camp                                         4-day work week
