DCS Girls Basketball Team Survive in Opening Round
Lincoln, NE - The Dundy County-Stratton Tigers the #1 overall seed in the NSAA Girls State Basketball Tournament survived a scare from #8 seed Loomis in the opening round of the State Tournament from Pinnacle Bank Arena. In a game where both teams would commit many turnovers and missed free throws came down to the very end of the game in a 37-36 win for Dundy County-Stratton. DCS turned the basketball over 29 times while Loomis turned over the basketball 27 times.
DCS was led in scoring by Emily Schack who finished with 14 points.
Loomis was led in scoring by Sophia Schemper who finished with 16 points.
