Field Set for MLB Desert Invitational

Nebraska baseball will open its season at the MLB Desert Invitational for the second consecutive year, as the Huskers face UConn, Northeastern, Grand Canyon and Stanford on Feb. 13-16.
The Huskers begin the 2026 campaign against UConn and Northeastern. The Huskies posted a 38-21 overall record in 2025, while Northeastern went 49-11 and earned the No. 2 seed in the Tallahassee Regional.
The Big Red finish opening-weekend action against Grand Canyon and Stanford, who went 31-27 and 27-25 last season, respectively.
Game times and venue assignments for the MLB Desert Invitational matchups will be determined at a later date.
