Hastings Shuts Out McCook

McCook Softball Team struggled against a tough Hastings High squad that pounded out 8 hits and commited no errors in a 10-0 victory in 5 innings.  McCook would get no hits and commit 5 errors and slip to 5-2 on the year.  Pitch Briley Morgan recorded 3 strike outs on the night.  Hastings Pitcher Ella Tinsman recorded 8 total strike outs as Hastings improved to 3-2 on the season.  McCook returns to action on Saturday at the Holdrege Tournament and will take on Alliance at 10:30am.
