McCook Hires New Girls Golf Coach

McCook High School is very excited to announce Mrs. Kaylee Wiemers as the new Head Girls Golf Coach for the McCook Bison.
Kaylee was an outstanding golfer while in high school placing in the top 10 at state 3 out of four years and winning the 2012 Girls State Golf Tournament her senior year. Kaylee is employed by McCook Community Hospital as an MRI technologist.
She is a 2013 McCook High School graduate and participated in both tennis and golf while in high school. She attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and UNMC where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging and a Masters Degree in Healthcare Delivery Sciences. Kaylee’s husband Nick, is a pricing manager for GIX Logistics out of Grand Island. Kaylee and Nick have two daughters Madilyn (4) and Millie (2)
Kaylee has been part of the golf tradition here in McCook as a player under coach Randy Ryser and is honored and to accept the position as the new McCook Head Girls’ Golf Coach. Kaylee wanted to get into coaching to inspire young girls including her daughters to play the sport.
Kaylee will begin her head coaching experience with a meeting for next year’s team in early April and then working with the current high school team this summer and building for the future with the younger golfers.
