McCook MNB Bank Seniors End Regular Season With Double Header Win

Game 1

It came down to the wire on Thursday at McCook, as McCook MNB Seniors grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 5-4, over Ogallala. The game was tied at four in the bottom of the seventh when Trenton Raile singled, scoring one run.

Trey Tiller, Raile, and Tripp Raile at the bottom of McCook MNB Seniors lineup combined for five of the team's nine hits in their victory. They scored two runs and drove in two.

McCook MNB Seniors were the first to get on the board in the first when Quentin Terry singled, scoring one run.

Ogallala took the lead in the top of the fifth inning after Markell Macke was struck by a pitch, Blake Robb walked, Jessie Ortega was struck by a pitch, and , each scoring one run.

McCook MNB Seniors captured the lead, 5-4, in the bottom of the seventh after Raile was struck by a pitch, and Raile singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

Simon Garcia earned the win for McCook MNB Seniors. The pitcher surrendered one hit and zero runs over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking none. Bradyn Heilman took the loss for Ogallala. The pitcher went one and one-third innings, surrendering two runs on two hits, striking out two and walking three. Raile opened the game for McCook MNB Seniors. The pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out seven and walking one. Robb started the game for Ogallala. The starter allowed seven hits and three runs (two earned) over five and one-third innings, striking out two and walking three. Espn Hall threw one inning of shutout ball for McCook MNB Seniors in relief. The southpaw gave up zero hits, striking out two and walking two.

Trenton Raile earned the win for McCook MNB Seniors. The hurler gave up five hits and one run over seven innings, striking out nine and walking three. Jackson Saner took the loss for Ogallala. The hurler went five innings, surrendering three runs on four hits, striking out six and walking five.

Terry drove the middle of the lineup, leading McCook MNB Seniors with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. McCook MNB Seniors turned one double play in the game.

Robb, Luke Minster, Markell Macke, Keegan Florom, and #34 each collected one hit for Ogallala. Ogallala didn't commit a single error in the field. Jessie Ortega had the most chances in the field with six.
