McCook MNB Seniors Take Lead And Never Look Back In Win Over Lexington

McCook MNB Seniors easily dispatched Lexington on Tuesday at McCook, 9-1. McCook MNB Seniors got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Miles Pollmann singled, and Lexington committed an error, each scoring two runs. A line out by Simon Garcia extended the McCook MNB Seniors lead to 5-0 in the bottom of the second inning. An error extended the McCook MNB Seniors lead to 6-0 in the bottom of the third inning. Brody Graham earned the win for McCook MNB Seniors. They surrendered four hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out seven and walking three. Rigo Tercero took the loss for Lexington. They went three and one-third innings, allowing seven runs (three earned) on four hits, striking out one and walking none. Pollmann drove the middle of the lineup, leading McCook MNB Seniors with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Trey Tiller, Pollmann, Graham, and Garcia each collected one hit for McCook MNB Seniors. Drew Hanson, Jonah Bryan, Tercero, and Croix Leibert each collected one hit for Lexington.
