Montgomery Gentry to Perform on December 12

Grand Island, Neb. – Country music fans in Grand Island and throughout Central Nebraska will have the opportunity to experience one of country music’s most celebrated acts when Montgomery Gentry comes to the BigIron Events Center on Saturday, December 12, at 7 p.m.

Known for their distinctive blend of country and Southern rock, Montgomery Gentry has produced some of the genre’s most recognizable songs, including “My Town,” “Hell Yeah,” “Something to Be Proud Of,” “Where I Come From” and “Hillbilly Shoes.” The duo earned five No. 1 country radio hits and built a loyal following with music that celebrates hard work, family, freedom and the American way of life.

The Montgomery Gentry legacy continues on the road with Eddie Montgomery, who remains committed to carrying the music and spirit of the duo to audiences across the country following the death of longtime musical partner Troy Gentry in 2017. That legacy is reflected in Montgomery Gentry’s latest music, including Home Run, a six song collection featuring hard-working stories, family, fatherhood and the signature country-rock sound that has defined the band for more than two decades.

“I’m keepin’ it going, I’m keepin’ my promise,” Montgomery said. “A day don’t go by I don’t talk about him. A day don’t go by I don’t miss him.”

With five No. 1 country hits, membership in the Grand Ole Opry and induction into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame, Montgomery Gentry has established a lasting place in country music history.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 9, at 10 a.m. through the BigIron Events Center Box Office as well as Ticketmaster.com. For additional information, follow BigIron Events Center on social media and visit the BigIron Events Center website at www.bigironeventscenter.com.
