Nebraska Judicial Branch Cybersecurity Alert
December 12, 2025 The Judicial Branch was made aware of a malicious email attack that is circulating within the legal and government community. Several persons in the legal and government community may receive an email from an employee of the Judicial Branch with the domain of “nejudicial.gov” indicating that person is sharing a file with you. Clicking on that link will ask the user for credentials and passwords. This is not a valid email from the Judicial Branch and is a malicious phishing scam that may introduce a virus that could corrupt your computer or systems.
Because the email appears to come from a Judicial Branch employee, please be vigilant and cautious before opening the email or taking further action. Please be aware of the following:
The trial courts, appellate courts, and probation offices will never send documents that require entry of credentials to view.
Notices from the court will be sent from the following email address: nsc.noreplycourtnotice@nebraska.gov. Service notices will be sent from the following email address: ne-support@egov.com. Electronic notice and electronic service will not be sent by individual Judicial Branch employees.
If you receive an email from a Judicial Branch employee, please verify receipt by separately contacting that person directly or contact your IT professional to ensure that email is not corrupt or malicious.
