Lincoln - Britt Prince scored 11 of her team-high 20 points in the fourth quarter to help No. 25 Nebraska hold off Indiana in a 78-73 women's basketball win on Thursday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

With the victory, Nebraska improved to 14-2 overall and 3-2 in the Big Ten, while Indiana slipped to 11-6 and 0-5 in the conference.

Another bucket from Prince with 3:41 left extended the margin to 69-65, before senior guard Callin Hake sank her only three-pointer of the game with 2:56 remaining to extend NU's margin to 72-65 and cap a decisive 10-2 surge by the Big Red.

Sophomore forward Petra Bozan also had three points and six boards to help the Huskers post a 38-32 edge on the glass against the Hoosiers.

The combined efforts of the Big Red forwards allowed Nebraska to overcome the return of Zania Socka-Nguemen to the Indiana starting five for the first time in nine games. Socka-Nguemen notched a double-double with 19 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.

Her inside presence gave much-needed support to senior guard Shay Ciezki, who finished with a game-high 31 points, despite going just 1-for-5 from three-point range. Ciezki went 12-for-16 on two-point shots. Ciezki had eight points in the first 5:20 of the fourth quarter, but the Huskers held her scoreless down the stretch to claim the victory. Ciezki played the full 40 minutes in the game.

Maya Makulusky scored all 12 of her points in the second half to put three Hoosiers in double figures, but Nebraska shut out Indiana's Lenee Beaumont on 0-for-7 shooting. The redshirt sophomore was IU's second-leading scorer on the season.

The Huskers rebuilt their biggest lead to 12 points two minutes into the third quarter, but a 14-1 surge by the Hoosiers in a four-minute stretch late in the third briefly put IU up 51-49 on a four-point play by Makalusky.
