March 17, 2025 (LINCOLN, NEB.) — Nebraska State Troopers removed 15 impaired drivers from the road during the Boys State Basketball tournament, thanks in part to a special enforcement effort including troopers across the state.

“Congratulations to all the teams who claimed state titles, and to all teams that made it to this year’s state tournaments,” said Colonel John Bolduc, Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol. “Thank you to all the teams and their fans for helping to keep Nebraska roads safe. While the games may be over, we want to encourage everyone to continue to practice safe driving habits during future travel weekends.
