Wilcox-Hildreth Thumps Maywood-Hayes Center

Hildreth, NE - Mistakes caused the Maywood-Hayes Center Football team into a deep hole and just could never climb back out of it falling 60-12 in the season opening Football game in Hildreth on Friday night.
Maywood-Hayes Center would get the ball to start the game and would drive down the field before fumbling the football which would result in a 42 yard scoop and score for Wilcox-Hildreth. On the next possession for Maywood-Hayes Center the Wolves would be forced to punt to the Falcons and they would return the punt 55 yards. Then Maywood-Hayes Center would have another empty possession and Wilcox-Hildreth took advantage of it going up 16-0 after the first quarter. It wouldn't be until mid second quarter where Maywood-Hayes Center would convert their first touchdown of the game, but Wilcox-Hildreth would still be to much to handle winning the game 60-12.
Wilcox-Hildreth goes to 1-0 on the year and will travel to Deshler on Friday.
Maywood-Hayes Center slips to 0-1 and will host Mullen on Thursday.
