Dundy County-Stratton State Tournament Bound

(Oxford,NE) - The Dundy County-Stratton Tigers took on the Sutton Mustangs in the Class D1 District Final from Southern Valley High School on Tuesday night with a trip the the Boys State Basketball Tournament on the line.  DCS would become very patient on offense something the Tigers haven't typically done this season and the change paid off for the Tigers as DCS rolled to a 46-33 win over Sutton to punch their ticket to the State Tournament for the 3rd consecutive year.  DCS now 22-5 on the season and ended Sutton's season at 14-11 overall.  Dundy County-Stratton will play on Thursday, March 7th.  DCS will now await the official word from the NSAA on who they will face in the Class D1 boy's state high school basketball tournament.
